SPU Alumni : Scope of Activities
  • SPU Alumni is US Based non-profit organization
  • Mission: Bring together students, teaches and management to a common platform
  • Advocacy : Annual SPU Alumni Convention throughout USA and online advocacy efforts
  • Donation to Sardar Patel University and Charutar Vidhyamandal in support of academic initiatives
  • Provide Scholarship and support to students in need to achieve proper education
How can you contribute
History
  • First convention started in 2003
  • Since then continuous progress and growth with the support of all Alumni
  • Since 2003, every year convention held in New Jersey, Chicago, Atlanta, Connecticut, Delaware and Baltimore
  • Once again, 2014 is the 12th successive convention scheduled on Nov 1, 2014 in New Jersey
Donation to Sardar Patel University and Charutar Vidhyamandal
  • In 2005, we have donated $5000 to the SP Trust, Karamsad
  • In 2006, we have donated $5000 to S P University
  • In 2008, we have donated $5000 to Charutar Vidhya Mandal, V V Nagar
Financial Support
  • In 2011, we have made fix deposit of $35,000 as SPU Alumni Association
  • In 2012, we have made fix deposit of $20,000 as SPU Alumni Association
  • By end of 2014, we are planning to make another fix deposit of $20,000 again
  • We have also received donation of $140,000 to support MS Program in Applied Science – in SPU
Helping in need
